Pull up a chair at a table literally on the sand, breathe in the scent of grilled octopus drying in the sun, and raise a glass of chilled local wine as the Saronic Gulf turns gold at sunset. Only 12 km from the villa, the ancient Temple of Aphaia crowns a fragrant pine-clad hill with sweeping panoramic views over the sea. Together with the Parthenon and the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion, it forms the legendary "Sacred Triangle" of antiquity — an architectural marvel that rewards every visitor.
From the charming village of Perdika, a traditional wooden boat takes just 10 minutes to reach the uninhabited Moni Island. Swim in some of the clearest water in the Saronic Gulf, explore deserted paths through the pines, and be charmed by the island's tame wild peacocks and deer that wander freely along the shore.
Aegina is world-famous for its pistachios — richer, creamier, and more aromatic than any other variety. Stop at the port vendors on your way in or out and stock up on bags of fresh roasted nuts, pistachio paste, and the unmissable pistachio ice cream that has made the island a pilgrimage for food lovers across Greece and beyond.

Ferries depart regularly from Piraeus Port in Athens, which is directly connected to the Athens Metro (Green Line, Piraeus station). Two options:

Once you step off the ferry at Aegina Port, the villa is a scenic 10–15 minute drive through the island's charming countryside.
